MY TRIP TO RAMGNAGAR

Since the lockdown kicked off, I could not go out and was getting very bored .

So, we decided to go out to places less visited. We chose places of natural beauty which wasn’t far away as we had to come back in evening.  We wanted to avoid crowded place and to maintain social distancing. We planned basic precautions like wearing mask, carrying sanitizer. We carried even food and tea from home so as to avoid contacts.

We chose the places which, we assumed, no one else would. If that would be the case, we were to find out.

Planning

5 families planned for the trip. But 2 families dropped out for different reasons, leaving 3 families in the plan.

On the D-day, 1 car tire got punctured and Ankit Uncle was left stranded in Indiranagar. At the end, 2 families went for picnic – Amar Uncle’s and ours.

The first stop – Big Banyan Tree

Imagine a tree,450 years old and spread over almost 3 acres of land – size equivalent to almost 2.5 football fields. It’s a nature’s wonder and also boasts of  open space to run, play and have fun. The tree has so many secondary branches of the tree that no one knows where the primary root is. The tree has many branches which 100 of monkeys have made their habitat. It was fun to watch those monkeys jumping on and off the branches of the gigantic tree.

THIS IS A SINGLE TREE STRETCHING THIS FAR

Alas, to our disappointment, the entrance to the tree park was closed – thanks to COVID-19. Nonetheless, again thanks to the same covid-19, the adjoining restaurant was closed too. The restaurant has lot of open space and the provides a comprehensive view of the tree. We stood there for some time, took snaps and enjoyed the monkey business. The most adoring was the way mummy monkey was taking care of baby monkey.

Off to second pit stop

Having been disappointed by closure of the banyan tree, we decided to go to  Savandurga. Savandurga is  a hill 60 km west of Bangalore off the Magadi road. The hill is considered to be among the largest monolith hills in Asia. The hill rises to 1226 m above mean sea level and forms a part of the Deccan plateau.

Half way through to the monolith, we saw many cars parked on roadside. There was a small hillock nearby. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocius could be the term to describe the view. There was a dam nearby, river all over the place with lots of greenery and hills to rejoice the mind. Seeing the scenery, we decided to stay for a while, so we sat down and had tea, the tea was made tastier by the view we saw. Having enjoying the view for some time, we decided to move on to savandurga.

VIEW THE HILLOCK

SAVANDURGA is a monolith approx.50 km away from Bangalore. It was huge. A monolith enough to exhaust a person trekking the wrong way in a min. With my dad I made a plan to go trekking there the coming weekend.

RAMNAGAR made famous by name RAMGAD in Sholay movie was our next destination. Against our expectations, there were many people visiting the place, we roamed and saw few places, sitting there we had our lunch, played football and cricket. The sun was moving towards west, sky turning light blue when we started back to home. We reached around 6.  Believe me this was an amazing trip. You people too should go

Tom and Jerry – Are they really Enemies?

We have all seen this fantastic duo. They fight, team up and sometimes fool each other in a very funny way. But are they really enemies?

The answer is no, they are best friends. Tom is actually fond of Jerry as a friend and vice versa. However, as Jerry is a rodent and Tom is a cat, they pursue to play pranks and escape from each other. For example, in an episode, when Tom is thrown out for another cat, he and Jerry team up to throw the other cat out of the house. This proves that they are friends.

No matter how much ever they fight, they are, and will always be the best of friends.

Thank You!!

My favorite country

I want tell you about one of my favorite countries which is called the land of the rising sun aka Japan.

I like japan because it is a safe and disciplined country. It is the most futuristic country in the world. They have the best seafood also. They also have awesome robots too. Their culture is also very fascinating. As you all know,Japan is a island on the pacific coast near the Korean peninsula and some islands connect to Russia. They are famous for Sushi and Ramen. It’s capital is Tokyo. Some other important cities are Osaka and Kyoto. Did you know that Pacman and Mario were made in Japan? These are fun games to play.

Japanese culture is one of mutual respect and traditional values.

Beauty lies in the Eye of the Beholder

When you see a beautiful meadow filled with wildlife, you enjoy the beauty of nature. Beauty is appreciated by the ‘most’ of us, while some people can’t fully take it for some unknown reason. But when it comes to people, we can’t judge them just by appearance.

Physical attractiveness are deceptions. What really matters is the nature of a person. It is true that beautiful or handsome people are more appealing. But we can have a reliable relationship and long lasting trust only on the personalities of people.

For example, have you ever eaten a jack fruit? Though its outer covering is thick and hard, its inside is soft and sweet. Similarly, people can never be judged only by their looks or appearances. So always remember that ” Beauty lies in the Eye of the Beholder “

Thank You!!!

My Best Friend

Everyone has missed your best friend including me. During this lock down we get bored without our friends especially our best friend. My best friend is Pransukh Daniel. He and I will enjoy a lot in school like, making fun of everyone, playing, fighting and throwing paper balls at each other. We also tell our dreams or nightmares to each other, which sometimes tells our future. It happened that Pransukh told my future after listening my dream. My dream was, I was playing with Pransukh and an undiscovered creature came which when it bites anyone in 48 hours or on the 48th hour fire comes out of our head which leads us to blasting our head in 10 minutes. The creature bit me and Pransukh mixed all the medicines he had with him and told me to drink it, I asked what it is, he told me that it is a cure for the bite. I believed in him and drank the medicine, surprisingly it worked! He listened my dream and told some insect will bite me and fire will come on my hair. That day our class teacher asked us to bring match sticks and a glass. We all bought match sticks and I lit the stick as teacher told and she told to take some of the candles kept in the classroom. I did as the teacher told and the table was very small for me, I kept the stick holding in front of my head and I lit the candle and I bent to take my glass, that time the stick touched my hair and fire was burning in my head. One of my friend took the fire extinguisher and splashed carbon- di- oxide and the full classroom was filled with the gas, the dream came true.

The best thing about friend is that they always give support and some facts about them are:
They are like siblings to us
They always help us
They sacrifice themselves

Thank You

To Value Things

My dad always said that everyone should value things because they teach us something new when we handle it for the first time. It happened to me also like, when I was playing guitar and using badminton racket for the first time. For guitar, when I played it, I was shocked because, when I saw it when I was small, I didn’t like it very much, but now everyone is appreciating me. When I was using badminton racket in the court for the first time, I was very weak at playing, but now I can play many tournaments in the court and won some of them.

Some people also do “Ayuda Pooja” Ayuda means thing and Pooja means praying. They do this prayer because they value their things and pray because it should last for a long time. We should value things because they will give you the name and the fame, when we do not value things they will break and you will not get anything.

why is it important to learn?

The important subject in learning is math because if we don’t learn math then if we go to a shop and for the item you want is a bed the cost of it is 10,000$ and you don’t know to add, divide, and subtract and multiply. then if the shopkeeper will take the money even more, then it’s cheating no that’s why you should always learn. you should learn also other subjects like Environmental science, computer science, english, social science and etc. and don’t forget to get 100/100 in all subjects and and to get 1st rank in the exam.

Thanks

Technology- Has it changed for the good?

Imagine you surviving in a place where smartphones didn’t exist. How long can you survive? Days, Weeks, Months? Let’s say, not even an hour! (except while sleeping.)

Lets face it. We are addicted to it. So addicted that we can’t measure it! Don’t you hear your elders say how they had not seen a phone before, until they had entered their first job. Did you know that most of the people before our generation had not seen a phone until 2000!

Now-a-days, our life rests entirely on technology. For example, when our parents were of our age, their only way of communication were letters or phone booths. But, now we have a variety of applications in our fingertips!

But best things always come with a cost. Now-a-days, technology is being misused a lot. And with the increase in technology, there is also an increase in the crimes taking place globally.

Another evil, being done is Cyber bullying. It has become so outrageous that it was the main death factor of numerous teens in the year 2018. Though technology is being made for good, we misuse it to create havoc.

But this does not mean that technology is bad or it should be demolished. It is our responsibility to reduce the risk of being attacked, by, securing our IDs and passwords properly. So, let’s all team up together for the rise of technology against cyber misshappening.

Thank You!!

Music-What I love about it

“One good thing about music, when it hits      you, you feel no pain.”

― Bob Marley

Don’t we all love to hear the melody of songs and background scores that we love? Scientifically, music is the same as cars honking, alarms ringing and your parents shouting at you!!

Yeah, it is true. Our life is surrounded by ‘music’ around us, although not as pleasant as the ones we always wish to hear. But let’s take the music that we like. Do you wonder why it is very relaxing to listen and would love to hear it again? It is because it gives you positivity to move on throughout the day.

What I love about music is the variety of types it has. My favorite type is Jazz. It gives me those ‘cool vibes’ and its slow-paced speed helps me to focus more and be calm.

Another reason why I love music is because I get to play it. As a Keyboard student, I tend to play tunes that I hear in my daily life. I have achieved many certifications and awards for playing the keyboard and music is the reason for it.

 For these reasons and more,

I Love Music!!!

Leisure Poem

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.

No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.

No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.

A poor life this is if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

Importance of Yoga

Yoga comes from the Sanskrit word, ‘YUJ’. It means to join, connect, or unite. It is the union of individual consciousness with universal consciousness. Yoga is 5000 years old Indian philosophy. It was first mentioned in the oldest sacred text – The Rig Veda (Vedas were a collection of texts containing mantras, spiritual information, songs and rituals to be used by Brahmins, the Vedic priests.

Yoga is being practiced in Indian society for thousands of years. A person doing yoga will move from one posture to the other called Asana. Yoga benefits people who practice it regularly.

The form of exercises performed in Yoga is called ‘Asana’ which is capable of bringing about the stability of body and mind. Yoga Asana is the simplest and easiest way to reduce our excess weight and keep fit.

ORIGIN OF YOGA

Yoga originated in ancient India thousands of years ago, long before the first religion or belief system was born. It is believed that Shiva is the first Yogi or Adiyogi and the first guru. Thousands of years ago, on the banks of Lake Kantisarovar in the Himalayas, Adiyogi shared his knowledge into legendary seven sages as it was hard to put all his wisdom and knowledge in one person. The sages took this powerful yogic science to various parts of the world, including Asia, North Africa, the Middle East, and South America. India is blessed to have found the yogic system in its fullest expression.

The fossil remains of Indus-Saraswati civilization are evidence of the presence of Yoga in ancient India. This presence finds a mention in folk traditions. It is included in the Indus valley civilization, Buddhist and Jain traditions. According to the studies, Yoga was being practiced under the direct guidance of a Guru and its spiritual value was given a lot of importance. Sun was given the highest importance during the Vedic period and that’s how Suryanamaskar was invented later on.

However, Maharishi Patanjali is known as the father of Modern Yoga. He did not invent Yoga as it was already there in various forms. He assimilated it into the system. He saw that it was getting quite complex for anyone to understand it in any meaningful way. So he assimilated and included all aspects into a certain format – Yoga Sutras.

The role of breath is very important in the practice of Asana or Yoga positions. Breath is a vital force and our body requirement of oxygen changes depending on our actions. If we exercise then we require more oxygen hence the breathing becomes faster and if we are relaxing then our breathing becomes relaxed and deep. In yoga, the focus is integrated on the breath while indulging in slow movements as well as while doing complete Asana. Yoga promotes smooth and relaxed inhalation and exhalation during the practice.

Conclusion

Yoga is only partially understood as being limited to Asana. But people fail to realize the immense benefits yoga offers in uniting the body, mind, and breath. Yoga can be opted and practiced by any age group and any body size. It is possible for anyone to start. The size and the fitness level don’t matter as there are modifications for every yoga asana according to different people.

Importance of Money

Money is all about being self-dependent – Money makes you self-dependent which means that you are no more dependent on anyone but can fulfill your life’s desires on your own. With the help of money, you can buy anything you like and need not ask others for it. So you can say that money gives you the power to be self-dependent and there is no better feeling than this.
No financial problem – Money gives you the ability to put an end to your financial problems but this is only possible if you manage it in the right way. Even with less salary you can make out the most of your investments and have a stable life. Many people earn a lot of salaries but are in debt because of the mismanagement that leads to numerous problems. So make sure there is a perfect management of your finances which keeps you stress-free.
Live life to the fullest – The real joys of life come with money. Like, you can go on a vacation only if you have money. If you wish to live a lavish like you require money for it. So to live your life to the fullest you need money so that you can get everything that you are looking for. The luxuries of life can easily be purchased with the money thus enabling you to live a happy lifestyle.
Free to take your decisions – As already discussed above, money gives you power which means that you are free to make your choices and make the decisions that are best for you. One need not depend on anyone or feel any pressure as it is your life and you have the right to do what you want to. Thus you can take decisions easily no matter what the situation is.
You can offer a better life to your family – If you want your family to be happy, money is something that you will need the most. Apart from the basic requirements of food and clothes, you need to pay the fee of your children, take them to new places, buy computers, etc. All this is only possible if you have money and by fulfilling the needs of your family you can bring a smile on their face. You wouldn’t like to see their sad faces and will try your best to meet their requirements.
Help others in times of need– If you have the money you can help others you need it. There are many times when your friends and relatives would go through a crisis and may need your financial help. In this case, you can easily lend money and help them to combat the difficult times. You can give money to a charitable trust as well where your money is used in the proper way to help other people. Though it is entirely your choice and decision to give money if you have, one can always help others. From the above facts, you can say that money gives you the right to do a lot of things and that is why it is necessary to have the right amount. But the problem is that people run after money. Even the wealthiest person will want more and will try ways to make money. No one is satisfied with what they have and hence most of their time is wasted in thinking about how to increase the money. They forget to enjoy their life and just focus on how to get money. So do explore ways to make money but also enjoy your life and give time to your family.

Importance of Nature

Nature is the natural environment that surrounds us, cares us, and nourishes us every moment. It provides us a protective layer around us to prevent the damages. We are not able to survive on the earth without nature like air, land, water, fire, and sky. Nature includes everything around us like plants, animals, rivers, forests, rain, lake, birds, sea, thunder, sun, moon, weather, atmosphere, mountain, desserts, hills, ice, etc. Every form of nature is very powerful which can nourish as well as destroy us.
Now a day, everyone has less time to enjoy nature. In the increasing crowd, we forgot to enjoy nature and improve health. We started using technological instruments for our health fitness. However, nature indeed has the power to nourish us and fit us forever. Most of the writers have described the real beauty and advantage of nature in their writings. Nature can make our mind tension free and cure our diseases. Because of technological advancement in the life of human beings, our nature is declining gradually which needs a high level of awareness to keep it in balance and to conserve natural assets.
God has created everything very beautifully seeing which our eyes can never be tired. But we forgot that we too have some responsibility towards our nature to the relationship between nature and human beings. How beautiful scenery it looks in the morning with sunrise, songs of birds, sounds of lakes, rivers, air and happy gatherings of friends in the evening in the garden after a long day of crush. But we forgot to enjoy the beauty of nature in just fulfilling our duties towards our families.
Sometimes during our holidays, we spend our whole day watching TV, reading newspapers, playing indoor games or on the computer but we forgot that outside the door we can do something interesting in the lap of nature ad the natural environment. Unnecessarily we left on all the lights of home, we use electricity without need which ultimately increases the heat in the environment called global warming. Our other activities like cutting trees and forests increase the amount of CO2 gas in the environment causing the greenhouse effect and global warming.
If we want to be happy and healthy always we should try our best to save our planet and its beautiful nature by stopping our foolish and selfish activities. To keep the ecosystem in balance, we should not cut trees, forests, practice energy and water conservation, and many more. Ultimately we are the real user of nature so we should take care of it.

Importance of Tree

Trees are beautiful and useful gifts of nature. Trees are great friends of men. Trees give us flowers, fruits, timber, bamboo, fuels, etc. We can rest under the cool shade of a tree. We get wood from the trees to make furniture, doors, windows, etc.
Trees are also a great source of materials for paper, rubber, gums, herbs, and medicine plants. Forest brings clouds and causes rainfall. Trees prevent soil erosion. They protect us from severe weather.
Importance of Trees: Trees are a part and parcel of earthly life. All life directly or indirectly owes its existence to them.
Trees release oxygen which we need for our life. They also absorb carbon dioxide.Trees are the natural habitat of many animals and birds. Trees help make the land fertile. We get good crops out of fertile land. They are sources of fruits and flowers. They offer us cool shade during summer. During the rainy season, we take shelter under the trees. Trees and plants are the sources of many supply life-saving drugs. They prevent land erosion and guard us against pollution. Thus, trees keep up the ecological balance. Trees protect us from inclement wind also.
Conclusion: Thus, trees play an important role in our life. Felling of trees disturbs the eco-system. We should preserve trees and plants with great care.

If I had the power to erase something permanently, what would be it and why?

Good Morning Teachers and my dear friends. I am Reneesa Kumar and today I am going to say a few words on a topic given if I had the power to erase something permanently, what would be it and why? If in the world anybody else would have the power they will use it for there own good but if I had the power instead of them then I will use it for every one good. I will use the power to kill the deadly Coronavirus. Because of this virus, many lives have been taken. Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness. The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is to be well informed about the COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes, and how it spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol-based rub frequently and not touching your face.
The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes, so it’s important that you also practice respiratory etiquette (for example, by coughing into a flexed elbow).
At this time, there are no specific vaccines or treatments for COVID-19. However, many ongoing clinical trials are evaluating potential treatments. WHO will continue to provide updated information as soon as clinical findings become available.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the new coronavirus outbreak, which originated in Wuhan, China, a pandemic.
As of July 30, the global death toll surpassed 673,000 amid at least 17.3 million cases. More than 10 million people have recovered from the disease worldwide, according to the data collected by the Johns Hopkins University in the United States.
The coronavirus family causes illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS), according to the WHO.
They circulate in animals and some can be transmitted between animals and humans. Several corona viruses are circulating in animals that have not yet infected humans.
The new coronavirus, the seventh known to affect humans, has been named COVID-19. The WHO recommends basic hygiene such as regularly washing hands with soap and water, and covering your mouth with your elbow when sneezing or coughing.
Maintain “social distancing” – keeping at least 1.8 meters (six feet) between yourself and others – particularly if they are coughing and sneezing, and avoid touching your face, eyes, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Avoid unnecessary, unprotected contact with animals, and be sure to thoroughly wash hands after contact. #Stay Home #Stay Safe

Importance of Reading

Reading skills are essential to success in society today the ability to read is highly valued and very important for social and economic advancement. Most children are beginning or trying to talk around the age of two years. This is a time when language skills are just starting to develop.
Books play a significant role in our life. They say that “When you open a book, you open a new world”. I believe that everyone would agree with this statement as books have become inevitable to mankind. For the majority of people, books are part of their everyday life. A book is like a best friend who will never walk away from you.
Books are packed with knowledge, insights into a happy life, life lessons, love, fear, prayer, and helpful advice. One can read about anything under the sun. Books have been here for centuries and without them, today’s knowledge of our past ancestors, cultures, and civilizations would have been impossible. Have you ever thought what would have happened if intellectuals never documented their studies?
On the 23rd of April, the world celebrates World Book Day. This day is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books, and most importantly reading. The main aim of World Book Day is to encourage children to the pleasures of books and reading. The reason for choosing this particular date is interesting. The 23rd of April is a symbolic date for world literature because it is the date of death for many great authors and poets such as William Shakespeare, Miguel de Cervantes, William Wordsworth, and many others.
In my opinion, reading is the perfect hobby and I am sure that a lot of people would agree. There are a lot of wonderful reasons why reading is important. Here are a few reasons why you should consider reading a book:
To expose yourself to a new thing: Through reading, you expose yourself to new things, new information, new ideas, new ways to solve a problem, and new ways to achieve a goal. Reading might help you discover hobbies or exploring things you didn’t know you like. Exploration begins with reading and understanding.
To improve oneself: Reading helps you understand the world more. Through it, you begin to have a better understanding of a topic that interests you. Self-improvement starts from reading, through reading you have a better understanding and better decisions to take in the future.
To improve your understanding: The more you read the more you understand things completely and helps you find the truth about something. Through reading, you learn more about society and how to adapt to it.
To improve your imagination: You are limited by what you can imagine, all the worlds described in books as well as views and opinions by other people, will help you expand your understanding of what is possible.
To reduce stress: Studies show that reading reduces stress. The participants in this study only needed to read silently for a few minutes to slow down the heart and ease tension in the muscles.
To improve your memory: When you read you have more to think. Reading gives you a unique pause button for understanding and insight. The benefits of this increased activity help to keep the memory sharp and the learning capacity agile.
To entertain oneself: Reading has an entertainment value. Reading is not only fun, but it has all the added benefits that we discussed so far. A good book can keep you entertained while developing life skills.
Even though it usually too early of an age to expect a child to read, there is no reason why the parent cannot start the reading process by reading aloud to them. Instilling reading into a child’s life can prove to be one of the most valuable skills that they will ever learn. As a result of reading books, the child will be more likely to read and speak in front of people. This is a very marketable skill to have in the workforce and for school. One of the effects that reading has on a person is the ability to understand more terms or words, over a while. This is communal referred to as comprehension. Reading can be a challenge but is one that must be met accordingly to succeed.

Importance of Discipline

The word ‘Discipline’ is derived from ‘disciple’. In ancient times a disciple always obeyed his master unconditionally which is a very necessary thing for all of us.
Discipline is valuable not only in the life of an individual but also it should be a motto to all of us.
Student Life: It is a vital necessity mainly in academic life and also in student life. We should mind that today’s student is the man of the future. They are the citizens of future days. So, discipline in life becomes an institution to build up the ideal character of the students.
Society: Discipline form the backbone of a nice and beautiful society. Discipline is virtually the soul of the main society. All members of a society should be ordered and they have to submit to the restrictions of social codes. These types of social prohibitions are mainly called the discipline in his life and days which always rings about welfare in some better forms. Disciplines always bring about the welfare of the society in the same form. The spirit of discipline always inspires the people and also the society in a good way where we can go to a better stage of people.
Army: Mainly an army man has the best discipline in his life which is usually the best instance to anybody in any people’s life. It is also said that an army is the best example of the work of a person of disciplined work. The spirit of discipline inspires the soldiers in conformity and obedience to set different rules.
Family: Usually all members of a family also obey the instructions of the family head’s order which is also an indication of discipline. All the members of the family always try to obey those orders which usually say to them.
Law and Order: Always standing in a queue and observing punctuality and also maintaining the law and order, helping the problems of a woman is the example of social discipline. It is a confirmed word that no nation can move properly without the way of discipline.
Conclusion: It is said that discipline is the fruit of dedication and punctuality. It is mainly needed in everyday life.

Importance of Water

Water is the most important substance in the world, a necessity utilized by living things for survival but also necessary for several processes. Water is vital in our life due to the following reasons. It is essential for our survival. Apart from this, water is needed in industrial units, production units, and the agricultural sector. Water is needed by microbes, animals, plants, and everyone. The human body is comprised of 75% of water and thus we are water bags only. Water permits blood flow through the vessels to help distribute essential nutrients and minerals throughout the body. It also allows the waste matter to get eliminated from the system. The great need for water becomes apparent when one feels thirsty. The transparent liquid is precious and everyone loves water when it moves down the throat.
Even the civilization of mankind started near to the rivers. Men began establishing themselves from the Tigris, the Nile, and the Euphrates. Major rivers all across the globe played a vital role in the evolution and development of mankind. Water is being used regularly for drinking, for washing clothes, for cooking or any activity you can think of. Drinking water in large amounts can protect our hearts. Staying hydrated is a fabulous way to offer a boost to our brains so that the organ performs at its optimum level. The human brain receives much-needed oxygen with water only. Apart from this, weight watchers and diet conscious people can lose weight by drinking more and more water. It improves the metabolic rate and helps to burn fat. To stay active and energetic, one needs to consume a lot of water. Drinking water keeps you alert, active, and improves energy. Whatever we eat in our daily lives comprise water. Nearly 2/3rd of the earth is covered by water. The vast expanse of oceans and seas has been the source of food and the major means of traveling. Seas and oceans comprise millions of fishes and aquatic animals that are a source of food and means of survival. The majority of mankind loves to eat fishes even if they avoid eating meats. For most individuals, fish is an important part of the diet. Waterways are important components of this earth. Huge container ships and oil containers tend to ply the water routes. If there is drought or scarcity of water, animals, plants, birds have to suffer a lot and most of them perish.

My favorite sport: Badminton

Badminton is my favorite sport because it gives me a thrill of jumping and smashing the cork. I like the sport because it makes me move every time from one side to other side of the court. There are many moves on badminton like:
Forehand
Backhand
Smash
Swing
Serving
And many more.

My inspiration in badminton is Srikanth Kidambi who became the best men’s singles player in the world on April 2018. He was awarded with Padma Shree, India’s fourth highest civilian award in 2018.

Friendship is essential for the successful wellbeing of every person. It is based on the simple rules of trust and honesty. A true friend is a person you can always count on when you face challenges and serious problems. He or she always offers a shoulder to cry on in case something wrong happens. Your soulmate always listens to your problems, gives you a good piece of advice, and never talks behind your back. A true friend is never envious of your accomplishments and achievements. This person respects you and keeps all your secrets. You can always tell your trusted friend your flaws and be sure that your revelations are safe. A good friend is always loyal to you and never lets you down. Being trustworthy is a very important factor in any friendship. True friendship is a reward for all the good we do in our life. A true friend is there for you in the times of need, he makes you smile when you forgot how to, and lift you up when you cant not lift up yourself. A true friend is one who never deserts you and is your inseparable companion in the time of happiness and sorrow. However, it is necessary to judge people correctly in order to make the right choice of a true friend. We should be very careful as there are a lot of people who can easily deceive others in order to gratify their self –interest and achieve their aims. This person should help you move on the right path. You should be patient and have a sense of tolerance to maintain a good friendship. There should be no suspicion and no disbelief in such kind of relationship. True friends are worth more than all the treasures of the world. Friendship is doing your best to make your friend happy. Friendship is forever, no matter what. It is the most wonderful relationship that every person can have if he or she is loyal, dependable, kind, caring, and loving. True friends try to avoid conflicts and do everything possible to make their relations stronger. Some people can even make sacrifices and risk their lives for a friend. True friendship is something that cant be expressed with words. Friendship is being able to cry together. Friendship is being foolish together. It is being mad at each other. True friends are always ready to protect each other from being hurt emotionally and physically. It takes time and patience to build a strong friendship and achieve trust between two soulmates. It is very important to have somebody with whom you can share your thoughts freely.
A good friendship is very difficult to come across. That is why we should appreciate this divine relationship that is based on understanding and feelings. There are a lot of benefits of friendship. We just need friends to live happily. Lasting friendship is a blessing for everybody. We don`t have to pretend to be someone else when we spend time with our friends. They give us total freedom to be who we really are. We should be grateful to people who make us happy. A true friend is one of the most precious possessions that one can have in his life.

Kindness

Kindness is the act of being kind/ polite to others. Kindness means being gentle/ caring or generous/ friendly with others.
Kindness costs nothing but it can help to make our planet a happy place to live.
Kindness plays an important role in deciding the level of success in an individual’s life. Kindness helps to bridge the gap between 2 individuals.
Nobody likes to hang around unkind people or people who put them down or mistreats them. Saying simple words such as ‘thank you’ is not hard to use to show gratitude towards others. Kindness depicts an individual’s characteristics.
One should not focus on other’s weaknesses and faults. You must ignore it by saying- ‘take care’, ‘never mind’. Such gestures will always help others to improve and remember you. Kindness helps to create positive surroundings. It is a universal language. It is a language that a blind can see and the deaf can hear.
Kindness cannot be defined in proper words but in simple words, kindness can be defined as a caring and righteous attitude towards others. Kindness is complex to define but simple to realize. To show kindness no 2 persons need a common language. It can be shown through your acts. Kindness never goes futile. It is one of the 7 virtues.
Showing kindness can make you feel human and impart joy to the recipient. Every individual is taught lessons of kindness through his/ her religion. Be it Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, and Hinduism, or any other religion all teach kindness. Kindness begins at home. If you can show kindness towards your siblings and other family members then only you can be kind towards the rest of the world. Be kind towards your office colleagues and neighbors to create a positive social environment wherever you go.
Kindness not only means being good to human beings but it also means human beings should not indulge in sinful or cruel activities towards living creatures. It is said that in return for the kindness we get kindness. For instance, when we nurture plants will love, care, and affection they grow big and bear fruits. These fruits are in the form of a response in return for our kindness.
Similarly, nature also has its own unique way to express kindness and gratitude just like humans. It should be noted that kindness should never be treated as a virtue that needs to be showcased in a few situations. Instead, it should be adopted as a basic behavioral human characteristic. To lead a happy and successful life we must learn to adjust kindness in every sphere of life.

Yoga helps us to control both the mind and body.
Sports and exercise
Sports such as swimming, climbing, cricket, football, hockey, basketball, etc. are simple and quite popular. They were both useful and amusing.
Walking as an exercise is not entertaining except in a congenial company or through a place where the scenery is interesting. It is admitted by all that walking is the most suitable exercise for all old people. The games of cricket, football, soccer, etc. combines social enjoyment with physical exercise and have now become popular sports. Rowing and riding are also good forms of exercise but the latter is not open to the poorer classes.
Both mental development and physical exercise is necessary for success in life. Exercise is essential for having a sound mind in a sound body. Our limbs grow stronger by constant physical work. We should also train ourselves in several kinds of gymnastic exercises. However, taking out some time to rest is as important as exercise. Over-exertion weakens the organs. Thus, you should aim at maintaining a balance between work, rest, and exercise.

Advantages and Disadvantages of lock down

Advantages of lock down:
Sitting at home during COVID 19 is very useful thing because, it can save us from being affected by the COVID 19 and we can spend our time with our family, not being in a hurry like in the olden days when we wake up in the morning, go to office or school. It will be very hectic and sometimes we feel sleepy or even sleep! To avoid this god has given us some rest and when we go out like in the olden days people enemy to the nature by pollution, but now no one is going outside and there is no pollution, that is the biggest advantage of lock down.

Disadvantages of lock down:
Sitting at home during COVID 19 is also not useful because, we don’t get to do something and we get bored, we will always watch cellphones, laptops and television, that is not a very good thing because, it can affect our whole body, not only eyes, but in the olden days we used to do something like walking, playing and many more. We don’t get bored because we meet our friends and play with them, but when the lock down started, everyone was getting very lazy and were addicted to screens. The most important thing is that it was an economic loss for companies and many people loose their jobs!
Thank you

What If I Had a Robot Dog

So, guys you already know that it is impossible to have a robot dog, but if I grow up and build a dog like that. It would be like ‘OMG!’ and I will be the first person to make a robot dog and I will name it as ‘Bob’. I like the name because, it will be very aggressive, that’s why I named it ‘Bob’. Now, it can detect any thief and will not bark if it detect thieves like normal dogs, instead it will attack thieves by its own with its poison claws or will hypnotize them.

The second thing is that, I can control it with voice detection or remote control. Another thing about the dog is that, if it deals any damage, it will cure itself automatically, it will do all the work that I say, but it needs a belt otherwise it will attack everybody, even me. So I should be careful about it, but don’t worry, after ten minutes only it will attack, when somebody removes the belt, it will immediately run to me and I will give him another belt.

He can help military people by detecting bombs and also produce weapons for them. It can carry heavy load and fix anything. The biggest advantage is that it does not produce excreta and only needs water to remain active.

Feminism: A Truth

Hi. I’m Reneeka Kumar. And today, I’ll be talking about a rather controversial yet sensitive topic: feminism in this article.

Exactly 100 years from now on, women were first given the right vote. We have come a long way from then since.  A lot has changed. Women now are considered to be the same as men in society. We enjoy the same share of rights that men do. So why need feminism? Why do we need feminism if women are the same as men?

Aah, here’s the catch. Now, if you would have noticed you might have seen that I had been using the term ‘same’ instead of ‘equal’. The reason behind this word usage is that women are not equal to men. Or as what the society still thinks.

Women may have been declared to be equal to men. But the universal fact remains, and that is women are not the same as men. It is true. People often fail to understand this point. Women and men, we all have our differences. But we shouldn’t let these differences become the cause of hate and prejudice.

Feminism kind of works in this way. We, feminists, don’t demand to verify the fact that women are the same as men. Instead, what we just demand is to have equal rights. Feminism is not a definition that you have to learn. Feminism is something deeper. It’s a feeling that you get.

Feminism at its core is about equality of men and women, not “sameness.”

Let me ask you guys, what was the first thought that came in your mind when you heard the word “feminism”? Let me guess, something related to females, right? But here’s where you are wrong. Feminism is never about a particular gender. Feminism in a way is about creating a society where men and women don’t have to live with prejudices. Of course, feminism started as demanding rights for the oppressed women. But as time changed, the idea of feminism slowly evolved.

Now feminism is not just about making women seen as equal. But it’s about breaking the stereotypes. Women, of course, were the most affected to live up to the stereotypes that the society had created. But men are affected in the same way women are too.

This question is for boys. How many of you have asked not to cry? Be honest, most of you might have. This is not a surprising fact. Society demands that boys shouldn’t cry, and boys are forced to live up these conditions.

A question for the girls now. Only women should cook. How many of you have been reminded about this so-called fact? Again this stereotype about females has been demanded by society, and girls are being taught to cook. Mind you, learning how to cook is not wrong. But learning to cook based on this stereotype is bad.

So, what’s wrong here?

Since people have a great deal of respect for the great society, I have a question for it? Have you ever considered that men are human too? Perhaps creatures with emotions. Men, by all rights, have the right to express their emotions. And what about the only-women-have-to-cook stereotype? Shouldn’t all know how to cook?

Feminism’s other mission is to break these stereotypes and work for the betterment of society. It is never biased on gender. So the idea of feminism only for women is entirely wrong.

A knife is a really useful tool. On one hand, you can use it to cut vegetables. And on the other hand, it can be used to end someone’s life. Its usage completely depends on the mentality of the person.

Feminism is that knife. It is that knife that can be used to cut the un-equality. But in the meantime, it can be used to cut the hopes of people. You might be wondering why I’m suddenly on this topic. And here’s the reason why.

Feminism is linked to misandry. Or in simple words hating men. Feminism doesn’t require to hate men. Real feminists don’t hate men. Yet people often fail to understand this.

I said it once, and I’m saying it twice: feminism was never, is never, and will be never about hating men. We just want equality. Why do we need to struggle so much? Is asking for equality wrong? Why do many people hate feminism?

These are questions that you need to ask yourself. Find your position in this fight, because you’re either a feminist or a sexist. Make up your mind.

I recognize myself as a feminist. I don’t hate men. I want equality. What do you want? Equality or the continued oppression of both sexes?

Another misconception that I want to clear: you don’t have to a woman to be a feminist. When you start realizing, that it’s time to stop this hatred and prejudice in this society; you are a feminist. Never be afraid to speak up because you and I will change the world!

Thank you!

Magic Balls

Once upon a time, a king used to rule over the Greeks. Every king in other countries is fit and healthy. But this king was a different one, he is a lazy king. One day, the king fell ill many doctors came to cure him. But they all failed to do so because they knew that the king has fallen sick because he does not exercise if they say to the king they think that the king would ignore them and would punish them. But there was a very clever doctor. He went to the king said that he could cure him. The king agreed without thinking because he wants to be healthy again. The doctor checked him after that he went out of the room, after some time he came with heavy balls. He went to the king told him that this is a magic ball and also told him that he should lift this ball every morning or evening. The king followed the doctor’s advice after, some days the king saw many changes in him. He paid the doctor a huge amount and also appointed him as the royal doctor. The foolish king never realized that the balls which the doctor gave to him was not magical but an ordinary ball!

Trees-Our Dying Angels

“Trees are the earth’s endless effort to speak to the listening heaven”

-Rabindranath Tagore

Have you ever had a nightmare where you woke up in a land with no trees? Can you possibly live in such an environment? If your answer is ‘No’, congrats! You got in right. You are dead before 10 seconds you reach there!

Shocking, right? But that’s the truth. If trees were not there, we would have not even existed on this planet. Life, on earth, would not have been possible if there would not have been any trees on earth. Trees are of so much importance to us as it is because of them that we get enough oxygen in the air to breathe.

Unfortunately, the uprooting of trees what we call as deforestation is destroying our environment. The uprooting of trees at mass levels has led to massive soil erosion which has led to floods as well as droughts in different areas of the world. Additionally, uprooting of trees has led to global warming. Additionally, deforestation has also led to depleting the ozone layer which is responsible to protect the harmful ultraviolet rays from reaching the earth.

It is of utmost importance for us to give their individual contribution to saving our dying angels. Finding an alternative to the use of wood for various purposes is one such method through which we can reduce the cutting down of trees.

Planting more trees is another small yet priceless contribution we all can do for our nature. For every tree uprooted we should plant 2 more trees so that to maintain the balance between urbanization and deforestation. Minimizing use of papers is another such effort which can help save trees in a big manner as papers are made from trees.

Together, we can hold hands to give a hand to our dying angles.

Thank You

The rarest wolf on earth The Red Wolf

The Red Wolf of North America

The red wolf (Canis lupus rufus[7][8] or Canis rufus[2][5]) is a canine native to the southeastern United States which has a reddish-tawny color to its fur. Morphologically it is intermediate between the coyote and gray wolf, and is very closely related to the eastern wolf of eastern Canada.

The red wolf’s proper taxonomic classification — in essence, whether it is an admixture of wolf and coyote or a third, distinct species — has been contentious for well over a century and is still under debate. Because of this, it is sometimes excluded from endangered species lists despite its critically low numbers.[9][10] Under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service currently recognizes the red wolf as an endangered species and grants protected status.[11] Canis rufus is not listed in the CITES Appendices of endangered species.
History through the Red Wolf ‘s eyes
Since 1996 the IUCN has listed it as a critically endangered species.[2History
Red wolves were originally distributed throughout the southeastern and south-central United States from the Atlantic Ocean to central Texas, southeastern Oklahoma and southwestern Illinois in the west, and in the north from the Ohio River Valley, northern Pennsylvania and southern New York south to the Gulf of Mexico.[12] The red wolf was nearly driven to extinction by the mid-1900s due to aggressive predator-control programs, habitat destruction, and extensive hybridization with coyotes. By the late 1960s, it occurred in small numbers in the Gulf Coast of western Louisiana and eastern Texas.

Fossil Evidence

The paleontologist Ronald M. Nowak notes that the oldest fossil remains of the red wolf are 10,000 years old and were found in Florida near MelbourneBrevard County, Withlacoochee River, Citrus County, and Devil’s Den CaveLevy County. He notes that there are only a few, but questionable, fossil remains of the gray wolf found in the southeastern states. He proposes that following the extinction of the dire wolf, the coyote appears to have been displaced from the southeastern US by the red wolf until the last century, when the extirpation of wolves allowed the coyote to expand its range. He also proposes that the ancestor of all North American and Eurasian wolves was C. mosbachensis, which lived in the Middle Pleistocene 700,000–300,000 years ago.[1]

C. mosbachensis was a wolf that once lived across Eurasia before going extinct. It was smaller than most North American wolf populations and smaller than C. rufus, and has been described as being similar in size to the small Indian wolfCanis lupus pallipes. He further proposes that C. mosbachensis invaded North America where it became isolated by the later glaciation and there gave rise to C. rufus. In Eurasia, C. mosbachensis evolved into C. lupus, which later invaded North America.[17]:242

The paleontologist and expert on the genus Canis’ natural history, Xiaoming Wang, looked at red wolf fossil material but could not state if it was, or was not, a separate species. He said that Nowak had put together more morphometric data on red wolves than anybody else, but Nowak’s statistical analysis of the data revealed a red wolf that is difficult to deal with. Wang proposes that studies of ancient DNA taken from fossils might help settle the debate.

DNA Studies

Different DNA studies may give conflicting results because of the specimens selected, the technology used, and the assumptions made by the researchers.[36][a]

Phylogenetic trees compiled using different genetic markers have given conflicting results on the relationship between the wolf, dog and coyote. One study based on SNPs[38] (a single mutation), and another based on nuclear gene sequences[39] (taken from the cell nucleus), showed dogs clustering with coyotes and separate from wolves. Another study based on SNPS showed wolves clustering with coyotes and separate from dogs.[40] Other studies based on a number of markers show the more widely accepted result of wolves clustering with dogs separate from coyotes.[41][42] These results demonstrate that caution is needed when interpreting the results provided by genetic markers.

My most favorite thing

There many things in the world like, toys , cars ,food and gadgets etc. My favorite thing is: A Bungalow. Of course I don’t have a Bungalow but, I am dreaming of, what if I had a Bungalow which had a big garden on the front of the house and a big terrace and many rooms like a palace.

I know that I will become the richest one, if I had that much space and a house like that. I will have some bodyguards, wait a minute, I didn’t say about what will be inside the Bungalow. First, I will have a meeting hall for some important speeches and parties. Second thing is that, I will have everything High-Tech like, having some micro chips, which will transform into anything when I ask it. Because the chip is voice- assistant. Third, I will have at least hundred rooms, where I will build a company.

Inside the company, I will at least give 87% of the rooms to the company and the rest of it will be mine. I forgot to tell you about the exterior. First, my house’s infrastructure will be like a very descent shape like the other Bungalows. Second is that, the entrance door will face recognizing sensor which will recognize their background. Third is that, the house will hide itself when any attacks happen, because I am very rich and some terrorists and thieves will attack me to take my wealth. That is my favorite thing and thank you.

The Narwhal

About the Narwhal and It’s features

The narwhal or narwhale (Monodon monoceros) is a medium-sized toothed whale that possesses a large “tusk” from a protruding canine tooth. It lives year-round in the Arctic waters around Greenland, Canada, and Russia. It is one of two living species of whale in the family Monodontidae, along with the beluga whale. The narwhal males are distinguished by a long, straight, helical tusk, which is an elongated upper left canine. The narwhal was one of many species described by Carl Linnaeus in his publication Systema Naturae in 1758.

Like the beluga, narwhals are medium-sized whales. For both sexes, excluding the male’s tusk, the total body size can range from 3.95 to 5.5 m (13 to 18 ft); the males are slightly larger than the females. The average weight of an adult narwhal is 800 to 1,600 kg (1,760 to 3,530 lb). At around 11 to 13 years old, the males become sexually mature; females become sexually mature at about 5 to 8 years old. Narwhals do not have a dorsal fin, and their neck vertebrae are jointed like those of most other mammals, not fused as in dolphins and most whales.

Found primarily in Canadian Arctic and Greenlandic and Russian waters, the narwhal is a uniquely specialized Arctic predator. In winter, it feeds on benthic prey, mostly flatfish, under dense pack ice. During the summer, narwhals eat mostly Arctic cod and Greenland halibut, with other fish such as polar cod making up the remainder of their diet.[5] Each year, they migrate from bays into the ocean as summer comes. In the winter, the male narwhals occasionally dive up to 1,500 m (4,920 ft) in depth, with dives lasting up to 25 minutes. Narwhals, like most toothed whales, communicate with “clicks”, “whistles”, and “knocks”.

Narwhals can live up to 50 years. They are often killed by suffocation after being trapped due to the formation of sea ice. Other causes of death, specifically among young whales, are starvation and predation by orcas. As previous estimates of the world narwhal population were below 50,000, narwhals are categorized by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as Nearly Threatened. More recent estimates list higher populations (upwards of 170,000), thus lowering the status to Least Concern.[4] Narwhals have been harvested for hundreds of years by Inuit people in northern Canada and Greenland for meat and ivory, and a regulated subsistence hunt continues.

The Narwhals tusk
The most conspicuous characteristic of the male narwhal is a single long tusk, which is in fact a canine tooth[18][19] that projects from the left side of the upper jaw, through the lip, and forms a left-handed helix spiral. The tusk grows throughout life, reaching a length of about 1.5 to 3.1 m (4.9 to 10.2 ft). It is hollow and weighs around 10 kg (22 lb). About one in 500 males has two tusks, occurring when the right canine also grows out through the lip. Only about 15 percent of females grow a tusk[20] which typically is smaller than a male tusk, with a less noticeable spiral.[21][22][23] Collected in 1684, there is only one known case of a female growing a second tusk (image).[24]

Scientists have long speculated on the biological function of the tusk. Proposed functions include use of the tusk as a weapon, for opening breathing holes in sea ice, in feeding, as an acoustic organ, and as a secondary mating organ. The leading theory has long been that the narwhal tusk serves as a secondary mating organ of males, for nonviolent assessment of hierarchical status on the basis of relative tusk size.[25] However, detailed analysis reveals that the tusk is a highly innervated sensory organ with millions of nerve endings connecting seawater stimuli in the external ocean environment with the brain.[26][27][28][29] The rubbing of tusks together by male narwhals is thought to be a method of communicating information about characteristics of the water each has traveled through, rather than the previously assumed posturing display of aggressive male-to-male rivalry.[28] In August 2016, drone videos of narwhals surface-feeding in Tremblay Sound, Nunavut showed that the tusk was used to tap and stun small Arctic cod, making them easier to catch for feeding.[30][31] It’s important to note, however, that the tusk can not serve a critical function for narwhals’ survival because females, who generally do not have tusks, still manage to live longer than males and occur in the same areas. Therefore, the general scientific consensus is that the narwhal tusk is a sexual trait, much like the antlers of a stag, the mane of a lion, or the feathers of a peacock.[32]
